Lightweight VPN for mobile

VPN Proxy Master lite - freesecure VPN proxy is a free-to-use privacy and security software provided by LEMON CLOVE PTE. LIMITED. This VPN offers features that can help users protect their data and privacy online, especially when connected to a public network.

What makes VPN Proxy Master lite stand out from the rest of the pack is its lightweight design. It’s considerably smaller in file size compared to its competitors while still managing to include essential VPN features such as IP address and location concealment, blocking and restrictions bypass, AES 128-bit encryption, and reliable protocols like OpenVPN.

Features and drawbacks

VPN Proxy Master lite - freesecure VPN proxy is a lightweight VPN for mobile devices. It has the fundamental features of a typical VPN, but it has significant shortcomings. It uses AES 128-bit encryption, which isn’t the best but is still reliable. This VPN’s free version also doesn’t impose a daily data cap, which is godsent for free users. However, the good things pretty much end there.

This VPN has an intrusive logging policy that many users should be concerned about. It logs registered account information such as email, the success of VPN connections, VPN location connected to, country of origin, internet service provider, the aggregate sum of data transferred, and anonymized data for network diagnostics. The policy has become less intrusive, but it still is a cause for concern.

Furthermore, this program lacks plenty of must-have features. For starters, it doesn't allow torrenting, which is a deal breaker for users who like to download consent. It also doesn’t have a kill switch, which should protect users from being exposed at the time of a VPN connection failure. Lastly, this VPN has limited servers available so they can easily get congested.

Should you use it?

Being lightweight doesn’t make VPN Proxy Master lite’s shortcomings justifiable. It lacks plenty of essential security features and its encryption isn’t the best available compared to others. It doesn’t impose a daily data cap, but the limited number of servers and intrusive logging policy still make it a questionable VPN of choice. There are much better options out there like Proton VPN.
